Onyx

Onyx is formed in caves and is made up of very small crystal structures that are called cryptocrystalline.

Onyx comes in a variety of pastel and flesh-toned colors that form cloud like patterns.

Onyx counter-tops are often a rare sight as this beautiful stone is more commonly used vertically due to it’s striking and dramatic nature.  However, Onyx is a beautiful and edgy alternative to granite or marble and can be back-lit for an ethereal effect.
